so much have been going on since poly started. so much i've been lagging behind in my studies. projects, exams and work load seems to increase tremendously. it surprises me quite abit. never thought that poly life could be so tight. was planning to slack all the way through poly. but well, apparently slacking in poly gets me now where except to being a forward module student. in that case, i'll be seperated from my dearest sambals. argh. hence, from this moment onwards, i've decided to buck up and be a good student! =) i'll mug like the old times, when i'm preparing for prelims last year if i have to! hais. no more slacking from now on! mug mug mug all the way! =D
went to colour court to play bball with clarise yesterday. saw alot of old bball friends. kinda missed them! i remembered all the old times we spent slacking away at the court, playing bball, chasing each other or just sit around to chat. =) it was fond memories. went to cage after that. played with a group of people in swensens uniform. it was quite an easy match, considering that they were mostly noobs. haha. later into the evening, xiaoqiang joined us. awww. it has been such a long time since we last played with him. it was just like the old times, him teaching us and giving us lots of learning opportunities during the match. =D ah, he's just made to be a coach in the future!
it has been a long time since i felt so happy playing bball. ^^

"harry potter and the half blood prince" lols. does it seems a bit laggy for me to comment about this book. for it was out for so long. but well, i just finished reading it today. it was a GREAT book. and i really mean great. i never thought any books in this world could be great. but this book really changed my perception. so much so that i actually aspired to become an author! but well, i guess this could only be me building sand castles in the air. haha. cause i could never write! i get bored. and i totally understood the fact that not everyone are equipped with such brilliant brains like J.K.Rowling. she's a genius.
the beauty of the book lies in the alluring plots being layed out. once you're immersed in the book, you just couldn't tore your eyes apart from the pages within. amazingly, it is that captivating!
with the progression of the harry potter books, the plot has become increasingly darker. yet all the little pieces of puzzle now seemed to piece themselves together, showing the story as a whole.
this series of books is definitely something worth reading! it's seriously a scandal not to read it! =)

omg! i guess i'm going crazy! for all those different emotions that went pass me recently! emotions roller coaster? do you call that? i dunno. perhaps.
anyways. congrats us, SP bball team (girls) for having won the match against ITE west. =) sorry didnt managed to contribute much. guess it just lies beyond my limit. =| i'm inexperience, thats something to say. why do i still think i don't fit in?! i'm trying very hard. i am. but somehow, there's just this knot in between which i cannot get rid of! be it mentally, physically, i dunno. and i do not wish to know. i'm confusing myself again and again,i'm just too tired. i cannot think.

life is an amazing roller coaster ride. full of emotions, laughters and tears. often, you cant enjoy the ride alone. it is best accompanied by a friend. yes. at least one friend, who can share your feelings and thoughts. giving your advices, words of encouragement and a shoulder to lean on. you will know you can always count on them to be there. i'm glad i've found not only 1, but 5, in my class. not forgetting you, CLARISE.
this is truely something i cherished. alot. though i might not say it. though i might not express it. friends are naturally my main source of support in life. i guess i could not do without you people. thanks for taking care of me all this while. thanks for understanding me. thanks for all the pampering. i'm so used to being spoilt by you all now! ^.^
whenever i'm down, thinking of you people just makes me feel alot better. because i know that somewhere around, i've got you people to care for me and to cheer me up when i'm sad. and thats' assurance to me. :)

hmm.. shall blog about ndp today. haha. still having that bloody heaty feel and headache! thanks so much for that scorching sun! =<
as usual, we met up with SP "ta por" for breakfast/lunch at junction8. after that, we split up, some headed to sharon's house to change while the others proceeded to KCP.
reached marina carnival at around noon. omg! the heat was intensely indesirable! make me wanna melt on the spot! *faints* i could feel the scorching sun burning right through my skin, penetrating into my system! least, i could not take it anymore. sat down and rest, hoping the heat will just go away.
it was hell for me, and i believed for all the other motivators. for the heat was lowering our spirit. i could feel strength drifting away from me, and the falling of my energy bar. i just couldn't find the strength to motivate or get "high"! =<
when night finally falls, our spirits finally lightens!we were able to dance and motivate at least. well, i mean motivate ourselves. =) hee! we were just too shy to interact with the audience, especially since they are mostly uncles and aunties in their forties or little kids. lol. age gap you see =Pp
got to know from zirong a army officer wanna get to know me. -_-" i wasn't flattered at all when i saw him. ok, shan't elaborate anymore. guess you people should be able to read between the lines *winks* was pretty shocked, that i cling on to matthew all the way back from dinner. haha! thanks matt, you were a great boyfriend poster. muahaha!
nearing the end of the carnival, everything seems to pay off by that DOUBLE display of fireworks!! both from marina itself and from padang. woohoo! it was such a beautiful sight, that the sambals screamed and cheered, casting aside all our image =Pp
last but not least, the session ended off with sp people gathering together and dancing!! way cool! ^^ we cuddled together and took photos! whee!!

scene : in the convention hall
background story : School of Business was holding a music concert, organised and performed by students from SB
...the music flowed from her cello, like a silvery mist dancing among the packed big hall. the melody can be heard crisp and clear, it echoed within the hall, emphasizing on the quietness of the student bodies...
...he sat among the audience. in the contrast to the crowd, he was ever so small. yet, he had all eyes on her. quietly he stood up, clutching something in his hand, he slowly made his way across towards the stage...
...the melody ceased. applause filled the hall. she cast the cello aside, stood up, bowed, and beamed...
...for a moment, the applauding when on. it took her a couple of seconds to realise where the audience's attention were on. to her right, someone was approaching, with a purple rose held close to his chest...
...he closed up on her, presented the purple rose to her in the lime light of the attentive crowd. he pressed on with a strong slang of english " be my girl ". he leaned forward, giving her a peck on the cheek as he reaches for her hand and slipped in a silver ring with the carving of a heart shape...
...with that, he turned to leave. upon walking a few steps, he turned, with a smirk, he raised up his left hand, only to show a similar silver ring on this third finger...
...the couple ring. it had on it, his & her name...

been quite sometime since i blog. well, has been pretty occupied recently, given all the tests and projects. holidays are gone! in the blink of an eye! omg. felt like i haven't done anything constructive at all! basically i just wasted my holidays away! omg! i've neither done any catching up in my studies, nor any catching up in my sleep! omg what have i done!? wasting life away, which is so.................... like me! oh no!!
went for a job interview at citylink with xinhui, sharon n irene today. the cafe gelare. omg! that place is a bloody money cheater! there's this deal that we start work at a salary of $70 for 28 hours for the probation period. and thereafter it'll be at a rate of $4.30/hr. OMG!! 70 bucks for 28 hours! thats like $2.50/hr!! thats totally absurd! $2.50 an hour, expecting us to do the the job of serving, clearing and counter! what kinda pay is that! cheap labour!? i bet even coolies get better wages!! >=( pretty unbelievable huh! after that, we proceeded to other walk in interviews. one of them include starbucks cafe. quite a nice place. i liked the ambience there! i do hope we get in for that one. though the pay cant be compared to my promotor's but well, its another form of job that offers experience! who knows i might just need it in the near future! in fact, i think i do! it has always been my dream to set up a cafe of my own! oh! might as well start planning for the future! => wish me good luck, to a step closer to my dream! ^v^ V
