finally, MOB's over! now i can let go of my subject-related skills! actually McGregory's right, i belong under theory X. i am lazy, and i hate work. i've just been coerced to memorise all these MOB terms. as you see, in SP, we are under high formalization. we have rules to abide and exams to pass. however, i am very disappointed with the centralisation in SP. they do not allow us to make decisions at all. decision-making are held within the top management and then pass down to us students through downward communication. we students has very little imputs in decision-making. i do know SP's director is a good leader as he possessed the drive, the desire to lead and intelligence! but i thought he should be more people orientated. so how come he is not seen socialising with us after school hours? i cannot comprehend. why didn't he use the path-goal theory? to be a participative, achievement-oriented, directional and supportive leader as the situation demand. all lecturers are being too achievement-oriented. tsk. they do not understand the path-goal theory. in this case, how can they be high-high leaders? they are demostrating the task management. tsk! without further ado, i shall find the communication source, decide the purpose to be conveyed, encode them into a message, send them through email, to the SP director, wait for him to decode my message and then force him to feedback to me whether or not has he understood my message! in this way, i'll be helping him to exercise feedback control!
